Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her father. Sarah is the middle child. She has an older sister, Natasha Chalke and one younger sister, Piper Chalke. Sarah's first acting role was in City Boy (1992), an adaptation of a film for television. After her debut film she auditioned in 1993 for the role of "Becky" from Roseanne (1988). Following the time that Alicia Goranson left the show to go to college The show was looking for an alternative. Sarah graduated from high school in 1995, while filming the 1994-95 Roseanne (1988) season. In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, Sarah was a part-time actress in two movies: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) in which she played an actress called Krista Wilson. Sarah was asked to be a part in a TV show named Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998) which was a year following Roseanne (1988). Based on the show Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998) which the show also had a basis. In 1993 she assumed Becky's character on Roseanne (1988). She said that she would like to quit acting and attend college. 2001 (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's older sister in Roseanne (1988) However she's actually younger. She was a part of the 1999 CCMA Awards Ceremony, at which she received an award for the best single of 1999. September 1999: Participated at the age of eight in Vancouver's theatre productions. She is fluent in French, German and Spanish. She is a volunteer at an organization that provides care for sick children who are terminally ill. Chalke loves cooking with her companions, particularly Thai as well as sushi as well as playing the guitar. She also enjoys ski (she is an instructor) and kayaking, as well as snowboarding and reading. Her father is a lawyer, as are her parents mediators. They also run an agency for child adoption. Her parents accompanied her to China two years ago to assist in coordinating the adoptions of a lot of orphans.
