Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress from Canada. She appeared in the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules as Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010. She starred from 2009 to from 2009 to. Annika Johnson was the character Annika in the A&E TV series Bates Motel. Since the year 2017, Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. Spiridakos has portrayed Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, who were restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family relocated to their father's hometown, Skala, Greece south of Sparta, a few years after she was born, and returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is incredibly linked to her Greek heritageand is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos began acting as a junior high school. She also attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first TV job within a matter of weeks, a minor part on Supernatural. She continued working in TV, and was able to get walk-on parts on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos made an appearance in the TV film Goblin, and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos also appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast in her first role in a starring part as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! Her feature film debut in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes which she also directed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, featuring Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags which was which was a Nickelodeon original movie. Spiridakos was then offered the leading role in Revolution as Charlotte Matheson (survivor in a dystopian society) and telecast on NBC television. While attending her first pilot season, she was a candidate for the role. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta as well as the first season in Wilmington. The actress was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance during the pilot but was beaten out by Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna. The series' second season was produced in Austin, Texas.
