Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. Georgia born, he formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle together with a high school friend. Their first album, titled Supply & Demand" was a flop. Epps later released 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was a top-ranked album on US Billboard 200. It was a great commercial success. Within the first week, it sold 147,000 copies! He hasn't been back from the album's success and rose to become one of the most admired American rappers. He has been nominated in six Grammy categories, of which one has been won for "No Problem." After he was found with marijuana and promethazine inside his bag, he was escorted off a flight from Los Angeles International Airport. This caused controversy. But his brush with the law hasn't impacted his popularity. His fourth and most recent studio album entitled "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was released in June 2017. "Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz's debut studio album is both his first major record and also his biggest commercially successful. The album reached number one on the US Billboard 200. It also sold 147,000 copies in just a week. The album sold 623,000 copies during the period of the year. It was nominated at the 55th Grammy Awards for 'Best Rap Album'. The reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz married Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple are the proud parents of three children Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He's not just a highly successful professional, but he's known for his brushes with the law. He has been detained numerous times for drug possession.
